I stayed at Swallow’s Nest with a group of friends in September 2015 and it was a perfect base for our weekend. It’s a lovely property which is excellently furnished and had everything we needed to enjoy a great weekend away together. A huge thank you to you, Vicky, Sue and the rest of your Team for giving our Owners such a great day on Saturday. Everyone loved it, and it gave them a good insight into what you do at North Farm for our horses & for racehorse rehabilitation generally. So I think we won all round!! The horses looked terrific and being able to see them in the barn was much appreciated, one forgets that most of the owners only see them on the racecourse, so don’t have the privilege of seeing them ‘au naturel’. Joanne was so pleased that she nearly managed to give one some carrot – next time! I thought the food at The Pheasant was excellent, hope the new management keep up the quality.Swallows Nest was a lovely place to have our coffee.

Wonderful holiday property, the website photos and description don’t do it justice. We stayed here for 5 months whilst working in the area and found it the perfect place to stay, well-furnished and equipped. We came and went at all hours which was never a problem. Would highly recommend.

Jane Waters – What a fabulous place to stay – fantastic accommodation for horses and riders and a very warm welcome. Brilliant hacking – we can’t wait to go back! Already talking about when we can make a return visit. Love the idea that we could mix and match hacking and lessons maybe. Though the lovely countryside and the off-road hacking makes it a very difficult choice. Are we able to hire horses from you? We have a few friends who ride but don’t have their own horses. I had a super time hacking out in the surrounding countryside, and that the tuition was excellent, perfectly attuned to my horse and the stage he and I are at, and involved lots of fun doing different exercises. I only wish I could have stayed longer. The accommodation at Swallows Nest was lovely and all was very comfortable.

Myself & my family had a very enjoyable stay with you at Swallows Nest, it was perfect for our wedding weekend. The only downside was not having more time for the girls to enjoy your ‘farm’ and meet the horses, maybe go for a ride. Next time! Thank you again for your welcome. Kara Davies – Absolutely superb yard, so friendly and a genuine love of horses (the rescuing of ‘HEROS’ retired racehorses deserves a special mention). Real attention to detail from the communication beforehand to the wine on welcome to the lovely horse beds and feeding service in the morning. Highly recommended from a human and horse perspective! Plus the long, long gallops straight off the yard were a lovely treat and are sure to offer the most enthusiastic horse plenty of room to stretch their legs.
